| What a day!! | |
| Cyclists and support team met early at Hardhorn Road Car Park, Poulton-le-Fylde at 6.15am, ready for the "Grand Depart" at 6.30am. After a number of "pit stops", cyclists and support arrived at the half way mark, Sedbergh, just after 11.00am. They jumped back on the bikes to complete the return journey and cyclists and support team arrived back in Poulton le Fylde just after 4.30pm. | |

| Firstly, may I thank the cyclists - Blackpool Group Chairman, Steve Jelly, Simon Walker, and Geoff Etheridge. The cyclists covered over 100 miles. Secondly, my thanks to the support team. This event would not have happened had it not been for them providing the necessary "fuel" for the cyclists. | |
| Now that the deed has been done, the main reason for this email is to thank you all for your very kind donations and sponsorships. | |
| The big winner of the weekend will be the charity, The West Lancashire Mark Charities Fund. The total to be donated will be announced when all monies are in. | |
