Fylde Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 296
Multi Mark Lodge Masons to Dine Evening

Multi Lodge meeting 26th September 2024 at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool. Meeting hosted by Fylde Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 296.
The seven Mark Lodges on the Fylde Coast; Fylde Mark, Bispham with Norbreck, Cleveleys Mark, Imperial, Prince Setanta, Semper Fidelis and Wyre Mark, all attended with numerous Craft Masons as guests to experience “The Magic of the Mark” and other presentations relating to the Mark Degree.
16 Craft Masons were invited along as guests of the various Mark Lodges. 68 Brethren were in attendance in all.
The Craft Masons were entertained in the bar area by various members of the West Lancs Mark executive including the RWPGM, Deputy PGM, an assistant PGM, the Prov G Sec and numerous Past and Acting Grand Officers, prior to entering the Lodge when it had been called off by the acting WM, WBro Colin Goodwin.

WBro. Giles Berkley set the scene for the Mark Degree and presented the Magic of the Mark video, followed by another presentation relating to the benefits of being a member of the Mark Degree.

A representative of each of the 7 Lodges presented a brief summary of their own Lodge; History, meeting place, meeting nights, number of members and costs to give the Craft Masons a flavour of the diversity of the Lodges across the coast.
The RWPGM then regaled the Craft Masons with a number of very interesting, informative and entertaining anecdotes about his own experiences of the Mark Degree over his long membership and the benefits of joining the friendly Degree.
A short Q&A was held prior to the Craft Masons and numerous Brethren retiring to the bar area for more discussion and gentle persuasion.
A lively and entertaining Festive Board was enjoyed by all, with the proceedings moved along by WBro. James Rashid Prov AGDC.
Over £400 was raised on the night for Charities with WBro. Peter Green organizing the raffle.
Early indications suggest that up to 10 of the Craft Masons who attended completed and signed forms on the night!
A very successful conclusion to an enjoyable and entertaining night of Mark Masonry!
