Ormskirk Priory RAM Installation 10th October 2024
 
Brother Paul Carr was installed by the WC W.Bro Billy Nolan in Cine style. Billy had on the previous evening, also in my presence, installed his successor in the Chair of King Solomon at Southport Lodge. He therefore had much learning to do and did very well indeed.

Paul Carr had been the Junior Warden and had expected to move up to Senior Warden, however, due to the sad passing of W.Bro Alan Burgess, he unexpectedly was required to become Commander a year early.
 
Ormskirk Priory RAM Lodge has many eminent members and as ever they displayed their skills.

Excellently done were the Address to the Master by John Rawcliffe and the Keystone Address by Fred Hargreaves. I, of course, was required to present the Exposition.
 
All in all everything went according to plan under the direction of David Rawcliffe DC.

The meeting was followed by the usual Ormskirk festive board delights when the raffle raised £85 from 17 diners to top up the £50 collection upstairs.
 
It was a privilege to represent our RW Provincial Grand Master and one of the Lodges for which I act as the PGM’s Special Representative did not let me down.
