Southport Mark No. 473

Southport Lodge of Mark Master Masons were
one of the first lodges to meet this year in the
province of West Lancashire on Thursday 3rd January.
 
Bro. Simon Mawdsley of Southport Emulation Craft
Lodge No.3675 was advanced into the Mark Degree
by the Worshipful Master Bro. Dave Robson and his
fine team of officers and, I must say,  as a visitor on
the evening the advancement was carried out in an
excellent manor and the Worshipful Master especially
should be commended  for his work through the
whole ceremony.

  A joyous time was had by all at the festive board
  with good food and company, the Chorley raffle
  raised a goodly sum of £103. In attendance was
  the Provincial Grand Masters special representative
  for the Southport Group W.Bro. Brian Molyneux along
  with several other Grand Officers.
