Prince Setanta Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1446

Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool on Monday 11th November 2024.
The members of the Lodge and a regular visitor gathered at the Cricket Club for a regular business meeting with a ballot for a joining member.
The Lodge was quickly set up by the members of the Lodge. The Acting Worshipful Commander; WBro. Andrew Stansfield opened the Lodge and welcomed everybody. A dispensation was read out allowing the Lodge to meet at the new location.
A ballot was taken for a joining member; Bro. Craig Scott, which proved in favour. Due to a diary clash, Bro. Scott was not able to be present to be welcomed into the Lodge.
A lively discussion was held re the proposal for future joint meetings with Prince Setanta Mark Lodge. It was agreed that a flexible approach should be taken going forward to ensure the future longevity and success of both Lodges.
The Lodge was closed and the room quickly and easily derigged and rerigged for dining.
An excellent meal of lasagne followed by a chocolate fudge cake and fresh cream was enjoyed by all. Spare portions were eagerly devoured!
Lively discussion ensued during the meal.
A raffle was organised by WBro. Mike Casey which raised £50 for charity.

An enjoyable night was had by all with many more to follow in the Lodges new home and with the proposed flexible approach.
