Giles Performs Magic at Morecambe |
|
Deputy PGM Giles Berkley made the journey to Morecambe Mark Lodge No 716 to deliver a presentation of “The Magic of the Mark.”

Although it was held under the auspices of Morecambe Mark it was an evening held in partnership with Garnett Mark Lodge No 146.
After WM Steve Plevey had opened the lodge and dealt with some administrative matters the lodge was called off. Giles, accompanied by APGM Geoff Bury, then entered the room along with 7 craft masons who are not yet Mark Master Masons.

The presentation included a showing of the “Magic of the Mark” video and then some more locally based information and images with commentary by Giles.
The presentation was very well received. Not only the visiting craft masons but several of the Morecambe and Garnett members later expressed that not only that they had enjoyed the exposition but had, more importantly, gleaned knowledge from it.

The festive board that followed was accompanied by the good conversation and companionship you associate with the order.
Steve later announced that the next meeting of Morecambe Mark Lodge would witness an (at least), double advancement.

Although aimed at non-Mark Masons the presentation would be of interest to all, especially junior brethren. I would recommend it to all those lodges who have not yet had opportunity to host the presentation. You will find it an evening well spent.
