Imperial Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1276

Business meeting 4th April 2025 at Fleetwood Masonic Hall, The Esplanade, Fleetwood.
The meeting was held at Fleetwood by dispensation.
The main business of the meeting was to vote on the future home of the Lodge, Fleetwood Masonic Hall or Blackpool Cricket Club. The subject being a matter for protracted discussion within the Lodge over an 18/24-month period.
The WM, WBro. Andrew Stansfield opened the Lodge at 6.30pm. 15 Brethren were present; twelve members and three visitors (WBro. Tony Cross, WBro. Steve Smith and WBro. Paul Smedley).
WBro. Cross acted as guest DC for the night.
The WM worked through the business on the summons.
A paper ballot vote was taken by the members with WBro. Cross and WBro. Smith acting as adjudicators of the ballot papers.
With the vote tied at six all, the WM had the casting vote, with Blackpool Cricket being his choice as the future home of the Lodge.
The Lodge was closed and everybody adjourned to the bar area for drinks and onto the festive board.
Lively discussion with a friendly atmosphere accompanied a very nice three course festive board; French onion soup, and immense portions of chicken and vegetables and a sticky toffee pudding dessert, which were enjoyed by all.
WBro. Chris Sage ran a Fleetwood fiddle and raised £81 for Charity.
Onwards and upwards for the Lodge now its home has been settled.
