Prince Setanta Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 1446

Lodge meeting at Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool - Thursday 3rd April 2025.
Eighteen members and visitors were present for the meeting. The WM, WBro. Peter Walker opened the Lodge and welcomed everybody to the Lodge’s new home and thanked everyone for attending and supporting the Lodge in its next chapter.
WBro. Tony Cross acted as DC for the meeting due to the unforeseen absence of WBro. Philip Watson.
The business on the summons was worked through.
A lecture had been scheduled for the meeting; entitled Mark Masonry, which was delivered in an eloquent manner with a wee Scottish twang, by WBro. Clive Gitsham, who had come along as a visitor hoping for an easy night on the back benches. He can but hope!
The lecture was well received by all present.
VWBro. John Forster floated a number of ideas for future meetings, including presentations on other degrees, including the Royal Ark Mariners and also highlighted that non-Mark Masons can be invited to the festive board.
There being no other business on the summons, the Lodge was closed.

The room was quickly set up for dining and the festive board commenced. The food was excellent as is the norm at the Cricket Club.
WBro. Bob Bennet and his legs of an unspecified age ran a Farrar Fiddle and raised £110 for Charity.
An enjoyable night of Mark Masonry was had by all.
