Semper Fidelis Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 880
 
Installation meeting Thursday 13th November 2025 at the Masonic Hall, The Esplanade Fleetwood
WBro. Peter Quirk, RAMGR was in attendance to represent the RWPGM.
16 Brethren were present for the meeting, including WBro. Steve Clark ProvRAMGR, who was rejoining the Lodge. Bro. Alan Barnes, Commander of Edmund Taylor RAM No 296 was also present.
The Worshipful Commander: Bro. David Kenworthy, opened the Lodge and worked through the business including the successful ballot for WBro. Clarke who was admitted and thanked the Brethren.
The Worshipful Commander asked Bro. Barnes to act as SW, WBro. Tom Egan to act as JW and WBro. Roy Rhodes to act as Guardian for the installation ceremony.
Bro. Robert Warwick Stafford, SW, Commander Elect, was presented to the Commander who proceeded to install him in a warm, friendly and sincere manner.
All the Officers present were appointed and invested.
The Exposition was carried out by WBro. Peter Quirk in an excellent manner.
The address to the new Commander was carried out in fine style WBro. Tom Egan.
WBro. Quirk congratulated the new Commander on behalf of the RWPGM and wished the Lodge well for the coming year.
A presentation of a virtual cheque was made to WBro. Quirk, for the WLMCF in the sum of £200.
The Lodge was closed and all the Brethren retired to the bar and onto the Festive board for sustenance, sparkling wit, conversation and banter!
A fine meal was enjoyed by all present.
 
WBro. Quirk in his response to the toast to his health, outlined recruitment of members and the importance of it to keep Lodges thriving as well as a number of other topics.
Bro. Paul Smedley organised a Fleetwood fiddle raffle and raised £96 for Charity!
A very good night was had and enjoyed by all!
