| The lodge was opened at 6pm, and despite the freezing weather and icy conditions, a good turnout was achieved. | |
| V.W.Bro. Maurice Evans stood in for our W.M. and proceeded to perform an excellent ceremony , ably assisted by the officers present. | |
| There followed a superb meal of roast beef and all the trimmings. | |
