Cleveleys Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1176
 
Advancement meeting for Cleveleys Mark Lodge on Wednesday 21st January 2026 at the Masonic Hall, Cleveleys.
The WM, Bro. Keith Carter, opened the Lodge with 32 Brethren present plus a candidate for advancement.
WBro. Jim Gregson; WM of Wyre Mark Lodge and WBro. Clive Gitsham; WM of Imperial Mark Lodger were both present.
The WM worked through the summons up to item 6 to ballot for WBro. Frank Kenyon; Royal Oak Lodge. The ballot proved in favor.
The WM then requested that WBro. Bob Stafford conduct the first part of the advancement ceremony and WBro. Alan Fairhurst the second part.
VWBro. Jimmy Rogers acted as SD for the advancement ceremony and guided the candidate, with his usual equanimity
WBro. Tom Egan explained the tools in his usual first-rate manner.

All the Officers who took part in the ceremony did an excellent job with the Overseers creating a great sense of theatre for the candidate, who thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!
WBro. Cross presented Bro. Kenyon with a letter of welcome into Mark Masonry from the RWPGM and a Provincial Mark tie.
The Lodge was closed and the Brethren retired to the bar and onto the festive board for a buffet meal and lively conversation.
A Farrar fiddle raffle was organized by WBro. Bob Bennett on his aged legs! which raised £162 for Charity!

An excellent night of Mark Masonry was had by all!
