Election and Demonstration Ormskirk Priory R.A.M No 1019
 
Ormskirk Priory R.A.M Lodge No 1019 held their February meeting on Thursday 12th at Ormskirk Masonic Hall.   This is the Lodge’s last meeting of the 25/26 season.

The season started back in October 2025 with the Installation meeting which saw WBro Neil Cooper take the Commander’s chair for the first time.  At the December meeting there was a double elevation ceremony followed the Christmas sing along.   The February meeting was opened by WBro Neil Cooper and the first item was an In Memoriam for Most Worshipful Bro John Herbert Prizeman, Pro Grand Master, who passed to higher service on 22nd January 2026.  A eulogy was read by WBro Fred Hargreaves and then all stood in respect to departed merit.

The next item was a successful ballot for a rejoining member Bro Tom Hughes.  WBro Cooper and his team then conducted an enjoyable demonstration of the Elevation ceremony.

This was followed by the election of officers for the ensuing year.  Bro Colin Shannon was declared Commander elect and WBro Graham Radford was declared Treasurer elect.  After the elections, WBro Roy Hedges the PGM’s Special Rep for Ormskirk and Southport Mark and R.A.M lodges stepped up and presented Grand Lodge Certificates to Bros Philip Pattullo and Lee Need.  The Lodge was then closed in due form.

Before the Election meeting in October; WBro Neil Cooper will be able to attend the Provincial Grand Mark Meeting in Blackpool on 15th April and the Provincial R.A.M Assembly on 15th September at Westhaughton.   We wish all the members of Ormskirk Priory R.A.M, a happy summer.
