Fylde Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 296
 
First meeting of the new season for Fylde Mark Lodge on Thursday 24th September 2026 at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool.
17 Brethren were present for the start of the season business meeting including WBro. Paul Smedley Prov GJW and WBro. Bob Stafford Prov GMO.
The WM, WBro. Dennis Askham opened the Lodge.
A eulogy was given for WBro. John Earnshaw who passed away in June, by VWBro. John Forster acting DC for the night. The Brethren stood to order for a period of reflection for departed merit.
The WM worked through the business including a declaration that Bro. Darren Clemson SW, be Master Elect for the ensuing year. Bro. Clemson thanked the Brethren.
WBro. Craig Scott ProvGStwd, was declared as the Treasurer for the ensuing year and he thanked the Brethren for their ongoing trust.
The Lodge was closed and the Brethren retired to the bar and onto the festive board.
Lively discussion and a friendly atmosphere accompanied the meal!
A raffle was organised by WBro. Peter Green PPrGSO, which raised £80 for the charities!
 
A good night was had by all!
