Furness Mark Lodge No. 36

Furness Mark conducted  an advancement ceremony to their usually high standard at their September meeting.
Candidate Bro. Mike Benson and W.M. Bro. Alan Hilton
W.Bro. Michael Edward Benson was  advanced to a Mark Man by the W.M. Bro. Alan Hilton assisted by W.Bro. Ian Cottam. The S.D. Bro. John Donley  ably conducted the Candidate around the Lodge assisted by the J.D. Bro. Dave Grove who also gave the explanation of the working tools to the Candidate.

Both the J.W. Bro. David Baker and the S.W. Bro. Terry Pearson added to the theatre of the ceremony by their performance, with the Overseers M.O. Bro, Bernie  McGeough ,S.O. W.Bro. Geoff Waters and J.O. Bro Gary Rogerson keeping up the high standard of ritual.

Having kept the meeting running smoothly  the D.C. W.Bro. John Parrot in conclusion gave the last part of the  advancement.
 
There was an excellent festive board with all the friendliness and enjoyment of the Mark Degree.
