Edmund Taylor Royal Ark Mariners Lodge No 296
 
Elevation meeting Tuesday 21st April at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool.
The Worshipful Commander, Bro. Alan Barnes, opened the Lodge at 18.30hrs.
24 members and guests were present plus the candidate. The Commanders of Semper Fidelis RAM; Bro. Bob Stafford and Prince Setanta RAM; Bro. James Rashid were both present.
A memoriam was read by the Commander for WBro. Howard Emmet and Bro. Roger Buckely who had both passed away recently.  The Brethren stood to order for departed merit.
The initial business on the summons was worked through in an efficient manner by the Commander.
The main business was the elevation of Bro. Joshua Patterson a member of Bispham with Norbreck Mark Lodge, which was worked through by the Commander and his team with WBro. Ray Lamb explaining the signs and WBro. Bob Bennet the working tools and the steps.
WBro. Bob Bennet was declared as the Commander for the ensuing year.
A Grand Lodge certificate was presented to Bro. Clive Gitsham by the RWPGM.
The Lodge was closed and the Brethren retired to the bar and onto the festive board.
A lively festive board with good food, banter and good craic was then enjoyed by all!
A Fylde coast fiddle was run by Bro. Steve Smith, which raised £114.
A great night was had by all!!
