No. 866 are ever looking to enhance their meetings and Friday 8th April 2011 turned out to be exceptional. Calculations had proved that this would be the 500th meeting of the lodge and therefore sufficient to warrant a party! The Celebrations, which were honoured by the company of Prov.G.M. Bro Peter Connolly and other Provincial Officers, commenced with the advancement of Bro. John R. Brumfield. This being the first working by a new team, key members of which were indisposed, the ceremony was carried out with warmth and good humour. |

Bro. Brumfield is welcomed by WM Giles Berkely accompanied by Rt.W.Bro Peter Connolly and W.Bro L Hackett ,IPM After the ceremony the company retired to dine and an Olde English Evening with Prov.S.W. Eric Picton acting (noisily) as Beadle. His ministrations soon reduced the proceedings to Chaos, the better for him to issue the ubiquitous fines. |

The evening raised a magnificent £725 for the Charities. |
