| At 11am a maroon was fired to mark two minutes | |
| silence with the sounding of the `Last Post’ by a | |
| member of Greenfield Band. | |
| At the end of the two minutes a further maroon | |
| was fired followed by `Reveille’ and additional | |
| wreaths were laid before the people dispersed | |
| either to a further parade around the town or back | |
| into the church for communion. | |
| It was very noticeable that the attendances were much higher than last year both inside the church and at | |
| the memorial. | |
