| Maurice is the Provincial Grand Master’s Special Representative for the Southport, Ormskirk and Bootle Districts of Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges. |

| He was Advanced into the Mark in 1992 and elevated in 2002 and was Provincial Grand Junior Warden in 2003 which lead to Grand Rank in Mark in 2006 as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies being promoted in 2012 to the rank of Past Grand Senior Deacon and in 2019 received a further promotion to the rank of Past Grand Junior Overseer. He also now holds Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank. |

| He has become quite well known throughout the Province in consequence of his 6 year stint as Treasurer of Philadelphia Lodge of Installed Mark Masters and subsequently as Treasurer of the Provincial Officer’s Lodge, Adoniram Mark, a position which he held until 2021. |
| He is also Honorary Treasurer of the West Lancashire Mark Charity Fund. |

| He has enthusiastically embraced membership of the Allied Masonic Degrees and Royal and Select Master’s meeting many old and new friends. |

| Maurice retired in 2003 after a working lifetime in the financial services industry for the last 32 years of this as a Founder Principal of his own nationwide Practice. He is married to Lynne and celebrated his Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2017. He has one daughter called Laura. |
